Edmonton’s Greenwood Singers, under the direction of Founder & Artistic Director
Robert de Frece, return with their annual presentation of The Many Moods of Christmas,
proudly presented by Snyder & Associates LLP.
This online concert event premieres Wednesday, December 15 at 7:30 pm
and will be available for viewing until December 31.

The choir will be joined by the University of Alberta Faculty of Education Handbell Ringers, organist Marnie Giesbrecht, pianist Helen Stuart, bassist Jeff Johnson
and percussionist Murray Smith.
The program will include motets from the late Renaissance by Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck and William Byrd; anthems by Canadian composers Healey Willan and Brendan Lord, American composer Rosephanye Powell, and English composer Derek Healey;
carol arrangements by Mack Wilberg with organ, piano and handbell accompaniment; and settings of popular Christmas songs with rhythm section. The program will also include the lively music making of the University of Alberta Faculty of Education Handbell Ringers, playing 75 English handbells and 56 handchimes.
