Opening of the Caribbean winter season!

The beginning of the Caribbean yacht charter winter season is marked by two important yacht charter shows - the first one is in Tortola, British Virgin Islands and the second one is in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Both are excellent shows that allow industry players to network, exchange experiences, ideas and future plans. The yachts that participate get full attention and the crews are generous in showing what it takes to execute a successful and memorable charter. Together, we confidently create experiences that will live on forever.

Below is a list of this year's winners at both shows, as well as some of our favourites. But I have to say, there is a lot more out there and it is exciting and well worth exploring.

The crew of catamaran SEGUNDO VIENTO took the Best in Show award at the 2021 Fall Charter Show in the British Virgin Islands. SEGUNDO VIENTO is a brand new Privilege 64. Her crew, Lee and Tyler, worked together on SV Zingara where they discovered their captain-chef teamwork was a winning combination.

Catamaran MOON BLOSSOM is well appointed, spacious, colourful and fun. But it's the crew of MOON BLOSSOM that really captivated us. We have known Thea and Jamie for many years. They are kind, warm people, always happy and always enthusiastic.

They are also well known in the yacht charter industry for their great levels of service and for their efforts in sustainability:

Between the two yacht charter shows, I spent a couple of days on Anegeda, an extraordinarily beautiful place with an aura of calm around it. This is precisely what I had missed and craved all these months. I couldn’t have imagined that I would have been able to get all I wanted on this tiny remote island in the BVI. The sea is of the deepest turquoise colour, the reefs transform the loud force of the sea into the most beautiful relaxing sounds, the wildlife is incredible, turtles, iguanas, colourful fish, flamingos …. The locals are so welcoming and friendly. They had missed people, too. I had my first kitesurfing lesson there and finally began to learn how to fly! I rode a horse on the beautiful sandy beach with no other soul on the horizon. We ate well at the Wonky Dog, lobster is their speciality. But most of all the serenity of the place brought an extraordinary positivity and vigour.
