December 2021 Newsletter
We closed on our house and are now living in the ministry's 5th wheel RV trailer full time. There was a delay in getting to Texas as planned, so for a time we parked behind FBC Westcliffe (not the building pictured above). We are so grateful for the generosity of our home church.
The delay was in the form of having an adequate truck to tow the trailer. Early on, we started considering the possibility that we were to purchase a truck once in Texas. The inventory is more plentiful there, which would make it easier to find one with the needed specifications. This, of course, meant making alternate transportation plans to get south, and waiting on God to provide the adequate funds or the truck itself at a later date.

We have a truck! I repeat, "We have a truck!"
For the ladies, that's probably all the info you want. For the guys, it's a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab Dually with a Cummins 6.7L diesel. The prior owners took excellent care of it, and it looks almost brand new.
It was close, but God provided a truck through generous donors who stepped out big in faith just in time for us to get to Texas and celebrate with family the evening of Thanksgiving. We received a call Monday telling us they were committing funds; go find a truck. Tuesday was a long day of driving to purchase a truck 3 hours away. Wednesday morning, the truck was registered and we started our drive south.
We also just missed the first major accumulation of snow in the Westcliffe area. Those were some long drive days. We'll plan shorter drive days in the future.

See Ya Laters & Speaking Engagements
The delay permitted us time to say our "see ya laters" at two of the three churches that financially support us. Thank you to the church families of Amazing Grace Fellowship, First Baptist Church Westcliffe, and Sangre de Cristo Fellowship.
We have been able to share immediate and short-term impacts of the move on the ministry, as well as some of what God has allowed us to do to minister to others. Immediately, our geographical location will change, and we will be adding family care to our client appointments.
Over the next few months, we hope to have the opportunity to meet in person with some of our clients who live in Texas, and schedule speaking engagements at various churches. If you are interested in scheduling a teaching engagement, please email us at info@bluefirelegacy.org.

In addition to the churches who support us, we'd also like to express our appreciation to each of you:
- who purchased items for the 5th wheel to help it be more like home
- who supported us financially during 2021
- who prayed over us and sent encouraging notes
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Since we do not charge for any of our services, our ministry continues to exist only through the ongoing generosity of individuals such as yourselves.
