You're receiving this email because you are, or were, an active Ambassador for the K-12 Education team at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. As we approach the end of 2021, I'm reflecting on how much our jobs as educators and those who support them has changed since 2020. I want to thank you for all you do to support the kids and educators in your life and for helping build connections to nature and science! I am looking forward to ramping up the Ambassador program in 2022 with new opportunities and I hope you will continue to be a part of the program. Don't forget to reach out via the Ambassador Program Bird Academy page if you would like to request resources for a workshop.
Below you'll find information on a scholarship opportunity for 6-8th grade teachers that you or your networks might find interesting. I love this curriculum and am so excited to get it into the hands of folks who will use it. Please feel free to share the information broadly.
Warm wishes,
Kelly Schaeffer

This dynamic curriculum provides everything you need to teach confidently with eBird while exploring animal evolution and speciation, diversity, and adaptations. During the webinars, we’ll guide you through the curriculum with a strong focus on implementation. If you want CEUs, those are included too! Learn more and apply for your spot today!
