As the year comes to a close, make prioritising your wellbeing your New Year’s Resolution with the Feeling Good app! Whilst we look forward to seeing out the year with you, we wanted to give you some final updates from 2021...

12 Days of Listening

This December, keep your eyes on our social media pages for our ‘12 Days of Listening’ as we run up to the festive period with the Feeling Good app. We have 12 scenic listening places to share with you, to help you relax to our wellbeing audio tracks in a variety of settings. During the 12 Days, we will be offering free, full access to the Feeling Good app, to help support your wellbeing this festive season.

Movember Campaigns

This #Movember, we’ve been sharing quotes and videos from men discussing what mental health means to them over on our social media pages. We’ve also shared Edinburgh Police Officer Kevin’s moving story on his recovery from suicidal depression through the Feeling Good app over on our website

On Tuesday 30th November, we will be closing up #Movember with the webinar ‘Wellbeing and the Men’s Sheds Movement’, where Feeling Good co-founder Dr Alastair Dobbin will be speaking to Charlie Bethel, Founder of the UK Men’s Sheds Movement about men’s mental health. Get your FREE tickets here.

Help for Long-COVID Module

In our latest update of the Feeling Good app, we have released audio-tracks to help those coping with Long-COVID. Check your app for more info, or read about why we think it will help on our blog: it’s a fascinating story of human evolution!

Polish Translation of the Feeling Good app

We also officially launched the Polish translation of the Feeling Good app in collaboration with Feniks. Thanks to support from Feniks and a grant from the University of Edinburgh, we are broadening the reach of our wellbeing support to the Polish-speaking community. Read more on our blog here and on Feniks’s website here.

University/College Recruitment

The pandemic has amplified discussions surrounding students’ mental health, and the wellbeing difficulties faced in University environments, but we understand that these difficulties existed before the pandemic, and will, unfortunately, likely exist beyond the pandemic. Therefore, with the new term moving forward, we’re looking to collaborate with more universities and colleges to provide our Feeling Good App to their students.

We are also excited to be in the development stages of ‘Feeling Good: Wellbeing Ambassador’ roles for our partner universities. If your university or college would be interested in getting involved, or you would like to find out more, please get in touch with us via email at Karen@fpmh.org.uk.
