Parallel sessions
During the conference days 13 sessions on different aspects of ecosystem services will take place. From sessions on sustainable urban planning and policy; to exploring ecosystem services & public health; to ES financing mechanisms. Have a look at all of the topics and presentations on this page.

ARIES Training
On Tuesday, 14 December, the ARIES team will lead a training on working with ARIES (ARtificial Intelligence for Environment & Sustainability). The training class will feature a live demonstration of k.Explorer and ARIES-UNSEEA, live training on existing models, as well as customized models, and Q & A. 

The training is free for conference participants (registration required). External participation is also possible for a small fee. Read more and register here.

Intergovernmental Meeting 
On Wednesday, 16 December, the Japanese Ministry of Environment and the Local Organising Committee of ESP Asia will host an intergovernmental meeting on the topic Best practices for post 2020 biodiversity targets. This meeting brings together governmental officers to address issues on ecosystem service approaches to achieve post 2020 biodiversity targets in diverse areas of Asia. Read more.

ESP Asia Forum
The traditional ESP Asia Forum will take place for the third time. This time the topic of the Forum corresponds to the conference theme - the session focuses on Gauging People's Sense of Wellbeing from Eco-health Perspectives in Asia and aims to publish a special issue in the journal Ecosystem Services on the topic of Eco-health in Asia. Read more.

Special Symposium
Bottom up approach of Eco-health in Asia: A case of Mekong river basin in Cambodia. This special symposium held on Thursday, 16 December, will discuss how to apply local-oriented Eco-health including well-being tightly related with traditional livelihoods. The symposium will report progress of a research project on Eco-health in Kratie province, Cambodia. Interactivity
During the conference, we have arranged for an interactive space for participants to network. A conference lobby in the interactive platform Gather will be set up and made available to all participants at any time. We hope to foster the familiar feeling of getting together at an ESP conference and strengthening connections.
