BUILDING REPORT WBC NOVEMBER 2021
We hope now we have come to the end of the reports required by Council for the resource consent process.
You will all be relieved that there are no ‘Lizards’ and no ‘Penguins’ in the vicinity of our club. These last two reports have been finalised. The Penguin report cost $400.00, the Lizard report cost $4700.00!
This last report had to be carried out in the Lizard ‘breeding’ season which was in October!
Most of you know, this has all been a long frustrating process for us, but we have been careful to dot the i’s and cross the t’s as per council’s original requirements, and we have worked with them on this. There have been a few other issues we have had to address along the way that have extended this process, but we feel we have worked through these with Landlink, Council, and our Architect.
The next process is to submit everything we have achieved to Council, (through Landlink,) who will then appraise our project, usually within 21 days. This will then go to an independent authority for further consideration before the consent process can be finalised.
We will advise the outcome when known.
