CM Families,

All children through NEXT (5th-6th grade) youth are invited to join us this Sunday at 6:30-7:30 for Sunday Night Serve- a chance to serve Christ and our neighbor in Winchester and beyond.  We will meet in the Stine room.

We have some Christmas-related additions to this week's email details about two special Family Christmas opportunities coming up in December.  On Saturday, December 11th from 10-11:30am we will have our Family Christmas Event for all children through 4th grade and their families.  We are also beginning to look for leaders for our 4pm child-led Christmas Eve Service.  Those details are all below.

Also, check out a new segment of the weekly email, "Green Tips", brought to you by Kelly Tierney.  Look for a new Green Tip every week as a simple way to care for God's creation and involve your kids in these ideas!

Blessings!
-Mr. Todd

We invite all families of children aged 2- 4th grade to join us for this special gathering as we think about the birth of Jesus through special Advent and Christmas activities!

December 24- Christmas Eve Service Child Leaders

We invite children to sign up to help lead at the in-person 4pm Christmas Eve Service at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4FAAAB23A46-2014.  There will be opportunities to read, sing, greet, usher, serve as a lead character, or light the Advent wreath as a family.  Talk to your children to see whether they might like to have a special role in the service!  There may even be ways to participate virtually if you're unable or not comfortable in being at the service in person.

All children are able to participate in the service by dressing up as a character from the Christmas story if they choose without any preparation.  It is a special worship service for all ages!

Our children's choirs are for ages 4 through 5th grade.  They meet on Wednesday afternoons at 4:30 and sing in church services about once a month.  Ms. Amy would love to have your child join us.  Please e-mail her: amy@fpcwinc.org if you would like any more information or if you'd like to come to try it out.

Register your kids and youth (birth -18) at https://fpcwinc.org/ss-reg-form/

David was no joke. In the Game Workshop children play the Giant Step game and see that David stepped out with a Big Faith to face Goliath. In the Bible Variety Workshop, children engage in a variety of activities from a Backpack Relay to a Bag of Stones game learning that we have a Big God who loves us, is with us at all times, and prepares us for living in God’s way.Children learn through a scriptless drama depicting the prophet Samuel anointing David that God makes big choices. In the Wacky Bible Comedy Club children listen to wacky Bible jokes and learn that God’s unlikely choice of
As a special enhancement children will make David’s Shepherd Pouches to carry with them each week. In each workshop they will collect two cards to place in their pouches - one to remember those ways that God prepared David outwardly and one to remember the characteristics of David’s inward heart by which God judges. Each card reminds children of the BIGS in David’s life.
The mask policy for indoor church activities is that all participants (2 and older) regardless of vaccination status must wear a mask.

The month of November is a great and natural time in our lives to really think as a family about "thankfulness".  Check out this simple Bible reading plan to focus on thankfulness as a family for the rest of the month!
