BISHOP GORMAN ADVANCEMENT OFFICE
UBI CARITAS EST VERA, DEUS IBI EST!
Where true charity is, there is God!
Our faculty and staff, programs and technology, buildings and equipment are funded partially through tuition and mainly through your caritas (love for all).

Your love for all is an investment in the future: an investment in our future leaders and citizens; our future teachers, attorneys, health care providers, and business people; our future mothers and fathers; and our future priests, deacons, and religious.

We have an amazing opportunity to receive a match of $200,000 for our BG Fund.  There is a lot to do, and when we come together, we will win together!

BG PALS
Don't forget about your BG Pals this holiday season ... a small gift, note, and most especially prayer!

FACULTY & STAFF CHRISTMAS DONATIONS
Each year, PTO donates gift cards that our faculty and staff receive at their Christmas party.  We are now accepting monetary donations for these gift cards!  Please Venmo @PTO-BishopGorman or drop off a check at the BG office if you wish to contribute.  Thank you!

FREE DRESS DAY
Congratulations to the 10th grade who won a Free Dress Day on Tuesday, November 30!  They had the most parents in attendance at the last Open PTO Meeting!
PTO NEEDS YOUR HELP TO MAKE GORMANFEST GREAT!

Please email Bernadette Bender, PTO President, at bbbender@suddenlink.net, if you can fill one of these spots!

Silent Auction Chair
- The Silent Auction Chair will be responsible for obtaining smaller ticket items such as gift baskets, gift cards to local restaurants, boutique services, spas, parent hosted parties, a parking spot at the school, etc. The Silent Auction Chair is also responsible for displaying and organizing auction items the day of Gormanfest

Entertainment Chair - The Entertainment Chair coordinates with the band/DJ to make sure they have everything they need as well as our requirements for music throughout the evening: schedule, times to play, etc.

Check In/Registration Chair - The Registration Chair needs to set up a system for checking in all of the guests and swiping their credit cards for items that they bid on at the event. A background in minor accounting is helpful. All items that are purchased need to be linked to the correct person and credit card.

Decorations Chair - The Decoration committee is overseen by the Decorations Chair and assists her/him with making decorations and transforming our chosen location to the Beautiful Boots and Blessings Gormanfest. From table cloths to runners, balloons and backdrops, and gold everywhere!

Swag Bags Chair -The Swag Bag Chair helps look for and acquires items for each Gala guest as a “goodie bag” to be handed out at the end of the night. Coupons, samples of products, candles, promotional discount items, etc. are items needed for the swag bags.

Public Relations/Advertising Chairs -The Public Relations Chairs will contact the media via press release to inform of our event and coordinate any photographers that will show up at the event. They will also contact “Catholic East Texas” newspaper for a follow up story.

School & Community Sponsorship Committee Chair - This committee chair will promote and advertise sponsorship opportunities for the Gala including Gold, Silver, Diamond, Sapphire, etc. sponsorship packages that include Gala reservations, sponsorship yard signs, PR in social media, recognition in the invitations, etc.

BISHOP GORMAN BOOSTER CLUB
Hey all you Crusader fans, as we transition from fall to winter sports, I wanted to remind you of a few things-

1. Cheer on your athlete and help other parents cheer theirs on by volunteering through Helper Helper, most especially this week as we honor Macy Chenevert at her namesake tournament. 💚🏀😇

2. Discern where you can more actively participate in your Booster Club at our meetings and by visiting with our incredible officers and chairpeople! 🙋🙋🙋 Email us at boosterclub@bishopgorman.net if you can help!

3.  A big thank you to those who made XC, Volleyball and Football seasons a wonderful success.  The Crusader family always wins when it comes to supporting our athletes and each other.

St. Sebastian, patron of athletes, pray for our CRU! 🙏

Blessings,
