Exciting Changes in Water Stewardship

You're probably used to hearing from us in our role as the North American partner for the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS). You’ll recall the focus of our work was site-level water stewardship informed by the AWS Standard. As of this month, we are no longer affiliated with AWS, and we have now expanded our water stewardship offerings beyond site-level standard implementation to a more strategic approach focusing on improving enterprise-wide water stewardship outcomes.
As a result of this change, you will no longer receive emails from us under the umbrella of the Alliance for Water Stewardship but will instead receive emails directly from The Water Council. You can unsubscribe from our email list at any time by following the link at the bottom of this email.
Our experience as the regional partner for the Alliance for Water Stewardship over the last six years has informed the development of new ways to engage with companies wherever they are on their water stewardship journey. Here is a preview of our expanding services:
- Corporate Water Stewardship Accelerator: An exciting new program to help companies ramp up their water stewardship work across the enterprise
- Water Champions: Allowing companies to demonstrate their commitment to water innovation and stewardship by supporting The Water Council's mission
- Corporate Advisory Services: Supporting the development of water stewardship-aligned strategies and practices, including collective action projects
- Water Stewardship Projects in Direct Operations: Supporting companies in operationalizing water stewardship in partnership with suppliers and customers
