Brainerd Library Sketch

December at Your Library

The Brainerd Public Library was established in 1899 and was a founding member of the Kitchigami Regional Library system in 1969. The Library's mission is to bring people, information, and ideas together to enrich lives and build community.

The Brainerd Public Library will be closed Friday-Saturday, December 24-25, 2021, for Christmas. We will close at 5 pm on Friday, December 31, 2021, and be closed Saturday, January 1, 2022, for New Year's.
Join the Friends of The Brainerd Library for cookies, beverages and more, at their annual holiday open house on Monday, December 6 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the library!

Yes, we have holiday books! Whether you're looking for Christmas, Thanksgiving, or even Easter titles, our Catalog can help you find the Holiday books you're looking for. In the search feature on the new catalog, just change the "All Fields" dropdown to "Subject" and start searching. Need more guidance? Email us, give us a call, or stop by for help!
