  Announcements

EEP comments Issue Tracker Training
  • All sites (excluding glue grants) are asked to nominate someone to undergo training for the KPMP Issue Tracker. Please contact Renee Frey frenee@med.umich.edu with your site's Issue Tracker nominated power user.
  • Trainees are asked to attend a training or watch a recorded session, and then log a practice issue in the test environment. Issue tracker training guides & SOPs can be found here on Basecamp.

Central Biorepository (CBR) upcoming closures & limited intake

Please make note of upcoming limited service at the CBR November 22-26.
  •  AVOID
    • Please do not send COVID shipments, FFPE/EPON blocks or slides, or any non-urgent shipments to arrive that week.
  •  LIMITED INTAKE
    • If strictly necessary, ACD Blood can be drawn and shipped on Monday 11/22, but it must arrive early in the day on Tuesday for proper processing, so avoid drawing on 11/22 if at all possible.
    • If necessary, Cryostor samples can be shipped on Monday 11/22 to arrive Tuesday. Given the requirement to ship Cryostor to CBR within 7 days of collection and given the requirement to incubate the Cryostor in the Mr Frosty in the -80C freezer for 12-24 hours, we recommend collecting no Cryostor after Thursday 11/18 (you could collect Friday 11/19 if someone can remove it from the Mr Frosty on Saturday)
  • PLAN AHEAD
    • Requests placed that week (e.g. TIS requests for samples or RS/HRT requests for kits/supplies) will be delayed in fulfillment by at least 1 week. If you need something for late November to mid-December, order soon.
    •  Regular shipments and requests can resume beginning 11/29
Next Participant Town Hall: Next DSMB Webinar
  • Please save the date for the next DSMB webinar: Wednesday January 12th, 2022 2pm ET/11am PT (4 hours)
  • Site PIs and KPMP Central Hub members are invited to attend.
