This is a gentle reminder email that the Clans of Ireland’s anthology launch is set to take place at 18:15 this Friday, 19th November at the Stephen’s Green Club, Dublin.
The anthology is a collection of contributions from 17 independent scholars edited by Luke McInerney and Dr Katharine Simms (Trinity College).
The title of the anthology is: Gaelic Ireland (c.600–c.1700), Lordship, saints and learning.
The anthology is now available to order via WordWell books and is hot off the press. Softcover is priced at €25 and hardcover at €30. Please follow this link to secure your own copy: https://wordwellbooks.com/Clans
There are limited numbers of copies available so I’d advise to get in early to secure yours.
FRIDAY’S ZOOM LAUNCH
The official launch of the anthology will take place tomorrow, Friday 19th November at 18:15 (Dublin time). The launch will included a number of talks and a lecture on medieval Gaelic towerhouses.
