The festivities for beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's 96th Birthday Celebrations began with the Global Akhanda Bhajans which commenced on the evening of November 13, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. IST. The auspicious evening was initiated with a lamp lighting ceremony, followed by mellifluous bhajans.

Devotees came together as one Divine family and sang the Lord's glories wholeheartedly and joyfully, radiating Divine Love to all!
|
|
|
The devotional bhajans were deeply moving and a blissful experience to all gathered online or in the physical presence of Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai. All age groups participated enthusiastically through the night and day-long session which concluded with a bhajan medley!
|
|
|
Among things conducive to Liberation, devotion holds the supreme place. The seeking of one’s real nature is designated as devotion.

As a tribute to India's first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Children's Day is observed on November 14th every year.
Pandit Nehru is known for his love for children. He once stated: "Today's children will shape tomorrow's India. The manner in which we raise children will determine the country's future."
Anyone who participates in providing the right education to children from rural and low-income families is living a life of service to God. Such a person will be benefited, purified and sanctified by his noble act. Similar to how the Ganga originates in the Himalayas and flows through several states before returning to the ocean, we have initiated a Ganga of education that will flow across the country and serve thousands of children. - Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai

The two-day conference brought together renowned musicians of different genres and styles along with esteemed musicologists and music therapists as one family, to discuss the healing effects of Indian classical music which is the backbone of Indian culture.

Revive Indian Classical Music to Restore Indian Culture: To affirm our individual and collective roles to bring back true music into the lives of the current generation and to appreciate the importance of Indian classical music as a means to mold the current generation.

During the Valedictory Function on the evening of November 18, six legendary musicians were honored for their dedication to music. Their lives exemplify the sacred tradition of continuing to guide and lead the way ahead for younger generations. Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai blessed and conferred upon these eminent musicians the prestigious title of 'Sri Sathya Sai Sangeeta Shiromani' for their lifetime contribution to Indian classical music.

The main objective of the Hospital is to make quality healthcare accessible for all, without any barriers, absolutely free of cost. The hospital is gearing up to rise to the occasion of the pandemic and is destined to become a temple of healing for the rural people of Karnataka in the coming days.

The hospital successfully mended 23 little hearts granting them a new lease of life and infusing in them a new beat of hope. The very first surgery was scheduled for the 15th of November which was successfully completed in collaboration with the exceptional team of doctors, surgeons and other medical staff from the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals.

The University is determined to reverse the current trends of commercialization of knowledge, and herald a new goal of divinization of humans by teaching sciences alongside spirituality, humanities alongside divinity, and excellence alongside enlightenment.

Poverty in many nations results from high out-of-pocket health expenses, now perpetuated by the commercialization of medical education itself and not just medical care.

Sessions 1 and 2 focused on undergraduate medical education, as well as postgraduate medical training and research.

Topics Addressed at Technical Sessions
Session 3 outlined the contributions of Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine Systems and examined the advantages, difficulties and challenges of the interactions between Western Medicine and traditional systems that preceded its advent, and provide pathways for the integrative training of future medical professionals.
Session 4 promoted greater training in the social, psychological, emotional, cultural, and spiritual aspects of medical care, to make medical education more diverse and inclusive, while using technology to expand the accessibility and affordability of care to the most underserved populations.

At the Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital, 23 pediatric cardiac surgeries were performed in 5 days prior to celebrating Bhagawan Sri Sathya Baba's 96th Birthday on November 23, 2021.
|
|
|
14 children and their parents received a "Gift of Life" certificate along with a stuffed toy, a bag of goodies and a picture with Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai. The remaining 9 children were in recovery at the Hospital.
