Chigamik Community Health Centre is now a registered charity and has once again joined the GivingTuesday movement in Canada! GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity happening on November 30th, 2021. Just as Black Friday kicks off the holiday shopping season, GivingTuesday is the opening day of the giving season and harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations worldwide to celebrate generosity and promote the spirit of giving back.
This GivingTuesday, Chigamik is asking members of the community to support its goal of providing families living in North Simcoe with “ready to cook” meals for the holidays. Chigamik staff and volunteers will assemble the food baskets and deliver them to local families.
