Our work continues. Over the past 20 months, the world has been turned upside down due to the global COVID-19 pandemic and the awakening of greater social consciousness following actions of brutal state violence. In this time of consistent change, we have continued to empower local organizations in Peru and Bolivia to provide enriching educational opportunities and provide needed support to organizations amid the pandemic.
As lockdowns and mandates have eased up this year, we have returned to in-person activities with local partners following best social distancing practices and mask. Through 2021 over 700 students participated in reading enrichment and training to supplement learning that has been lost as a result of the pandemic.
