Sunday Service Follow-Up

Thank you for joining us today! Below are questions for you to consider related to today's message from 1 Corinthians 13, "What Is Love?" We'd love to hear your feedback about how our service is going!

1. Why is love the preeminent characteristic of Christians?
2. What does it look like when you’re “right” about something but “wrong” in your attitude? What’s going on in your heart in those moments? How does it affect the people you interact with?
3. Why do you find some people difficult to love? Reflect on how you have been loved by God.
4. Where does a lack of love show up in your daily life, i.e., with roommates, classmates, friends, spouse, children, co-workers, etc.? How can the love of Christ help you love others more consistently?
5. What would people who know you well say are the signs that you are struggling with a lack a love? Is it the tone of your voice, facial expression, intensity, etc.? Or is it avoidance, dismissiveness, condescension, etc.?
6. Is the Lord bringing to mind people that you need to ask forgiveness of because your lack of love? If so, what are the next steps you need to take?
7. Who are the people in your life that you can share your struggles with and who will give you godly counsel?
8. How can you be a good friend to those who struggle with loving others? (cf. Gal 6:1-2)

• Refugee Donations: Next Sunday, November 28, we are collecting new donations to care for the refugees in our community. Our Afghan neighbors fled with only the clothes on their backs and are in need of support.
