We are so excited to announce the 2021 Read-a-Thon results!  Our Owls, Families, Friends and Community have knocked it out of the park!  During the month of October our students read 159,712 minutes and raised over $8,347.30!!!!!
Top Reader:Grade level 3-5:  read 7,490 minutes  
Grade K-2:  read 3,999 minutes  

Top fundraisers raised:
Grade level 3-5: $577.30  
Grade level k-2:  $763.72 

The winning prize for each of these students is a new Kindle Fire tablet!  Congratulations to ALL of our participants! We are so proud of YOU! 

  We also have class prizes for participation, total minutes read, and top fundraisers that will include pizza parties (donated by Vic's Pizza) as well as popcorn parties and special treats for the top readers in each class.  

️ We also achieved 71% school participation this year which means that Mr. Brock will be receiving a couple of pre-Thanksgiving pies in the face!  We can't say enough about how awesome and good natured our Principal is!  

  We want to thank our volunteers for their endless support.  A special shout out to Stefanie Slakey, Pat Slosson, Melisa Walker and Sarah Nelson for all your help making this Read-a-thon run smoothly!!  We also want to thank Barnes & Noble, McDonalds, Applebees, I'talias, Vic's Pizza, Buffalo Wild Wings and all the other community partners that donated so generously to the school.  

 Last but not least---Thank you to the McLane Family (Families, Teachers, Staff and Friends) for your endless support!  We appreciate you!!!
