And so, friends, we believe this roller coaster ride is partly over and we have given you time to ponder and select productions from our Subscriber Playbill.
We have missed you over the past eighteen months and appreciate your loyalty and patience.
We’ve missed you so much that we hope you’ll jump at the chance to “get in early” to see our renewed establishment and at the same time help us recoup some of our losses from the past two years.
Come and see our Something Old Somewhere New Revue. Five performances only! Tickets on sale now - click here to purchase!
It’ll be a sparkling occasion of theatre and music and fund raising. So please find a way to fit in a night at WLT before Christmas.
Cheers,
Celia
WLT is delighted to be able to welcome audiences back and mark the end of 21 months of theatrelessness.
While we haven’t been able to bring you a full-scale production for the end of the year, we’re thrilled to offer you a chance to re-engage with our little theatre and grab a sneak peek at some of the changes we’ve been making to the place during the lockdowns.
For five performances only, we’re delighted to invite you to our end of year fundraising Revue.
Something Old, Somewhere New
Come and see some of your WLT favourites perform some of their favourite pieces. It’ll be a heady mix of show tunes, poetry, snippets from plays, skits and sketches. And we’ll be celebrating WLT’s 75th birthday!
Hosted by Peter Newling, you’ll see performances by:
Barbara Hughes
Brian Christopher
Ellis Ebell
Keith Hutton
Bernadette Wheatley
Janet Provan
Robert Harsley
Maria Haughey
Adrienne Williamson
Andrew Wild
The show is unashamedly a fundraiser as WLT has had no income for two years. We’ve embarked on a major refurbishment of our facility – and now we need your help to pay for it!
A nightly raffle will put you in the running for our major prize:
Lunch for 2 at the Great Western Hotel, Ballan, AND
Dinner for 2 at the Farmers Arms Hotel, Daylesford, AND
2 nights' accommodation for 2 at the Daylesford Art Motel
