An Afternoon with Photojournalist Lynsey Addario (via Zoom)

Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Lynsey Addario discusses her experience covering Afghanistan for 20 years -- what life was like, especially for women, during the Taliban's rule, how life changed for women in the 20 years she's been covering the country, and how Afghans are reacting now. She will also share powerful images that she captured.

All-Ages Storytime with Ms. Ann (via Zoom)

It's Storytime in the comfort of your own home. Join Ms. Ann for interactive games, stories, rhymes, and to socialize with other families. Registration required; no Lincolnwood Library card needed. Video Game Tournament: Smash Bros. Ultimate (In-Person)

Compete against your friends for prizes in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch. Grades 9-12. Registration required, no Lincolnwood Library card needed. This program is hosted in-person at the library; masks will be required during the event.  

Michael's Music Machine Storytime (Live on Zoom & Instagram Live)

Every Wednesday • 9:30-10:30am
Instagram Live and Zoom
Features virtual storytime & music with the popular musical storytime performer Michael’s Music Machine via Instagram Live (@Lincolnwood Library). Recommended for birth–6 years with caregiver.

Michael is virtual again. Be sure to catch him each Wednesday at 9:30am on Instagram Live. Not on Instagram? No worries! Register here to receive a Zoom link for all of November and December.

Virtual Events on Zoom. These programs are offered using Zoom and will be live at their scheduled time with no post-recording available. Please include your email address in your registration to receive instructions on how to join the Zoom event.

Instagram Live Event. Programs are offered on our Instagram page @lincolnwoodlibrary and will be live at their scheduled time. Each recording will remain online on our Instagram page.
