SERVICES AT EMMANUEL...

Join us this Sunday at 10 a.m. Please keep in mind that if you will be joining us in person, we are required to follow regulations set by the health department - check in with our greeters as you enter, wear a mask, and remember to maintain social distance.  If you are feeling ill, have any symptoms of Covid, or if you are unable to attend for any other reason, we will be streaming the service online.  After service, we invite you to join us for a special time of prayer considering matters of importance to the ECC community.

Children in grades K-5 can join us in our KidsConnect room for the entirety of the service - check in begins at 9:45 a.m.   We have an exciting new curriculum to share with you - with a video and devotional resources posted to our website every Monday for those who missed joining us in person or would like to expand on our weekly theme at home.

For any inquiries for the church office or to book an appointment, please reach out by phone or email.  We thank God for your continued faithfulness.  Giving options at ECC include easy in-person giving on Sundays or during the week using the secure mailbox by the front door plus additional options listed on the "Give" page on our website.

SPECIALLY CALLED BUSINESS MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP...

A Business Meeting of the Membership of Emmanuel Community Church has been called and will be held on Sunday, November 21st immediately following the morning service.   The purpose of the meeting will be to vote on a motion to allow Southbridge Health Care LP to submit an official offer.  Please note, this is not a vote to sell, but simply a vote to allow the board to recieve an offer for consideration.   A written notice was submitted to members by mail earlier this week.  If you require an Absentee Ballot, please contact the office by 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17th.

MISSIONS CHRISTMAS POINSETTIA PROGRAM

The Missions Committee is offering beautiful poinsettias again this year! Everyone’s response and feedback from last year was very positive. The plants were beautiful, bright, and healthy!

Choose your plants, then return the form - it is that easy! All orders must be received by November 19th.  Pick up to be arranged for Friday, December 3rd after 1 p.m.

Please share with your family and friends. Payment can be made via cash, cheque or debit/credit the day of pick-up. Sorry no e-transfers or online payments available.  Thank you for your support
FOYER UPGRADES

We are getting ready to lay down the new carpet and the paint crew has given our walls a fresh touch.  The transformation in the foyer is looking sharp!  A nice refresh!
Thank you to all those who have purchased a carpet tile or a box! There is still time to be part of the transformation by purchasing a carpet tile, or 2 or 3, or even a box of 10! It would be a welcome contribution to the overall expenses of the foyer transformation! We have provided special envelopes for your donation or online you can mark your donation "Building Fund."

Thank you!

If you have any questions or information to share regarding the updates, please connect with Linda Peplinkski, Lana Crosbie, Tony Janssen, Pastor Chris, or Susan Micklewright.

HUG A MUG  Hug A Mug continues to run every Wednesday morning with a focus on “Painting”.   Check out this week's masterpieces from our talented artists! The painting program runs until the end of November.

Seniors, if you have free time on Wednesdays between 9:30-11:30am, please come and join the Hug A Mug group.

Due to COVID restrictions, we are required to social distance and wear masks, as well as provide proof of immunization.

MISSIONS AT EMMANUEL
Be sure to visit the Missions Page regularly to be reminded of those we have partnered with in National and International Missions projects.  You can give towards our monthly support by using "Missions" as the designation on your envelope or online giving.   Please continue to lift up each of our partners in your prayers.
