IFSA Palencia Introduces iuFOR Researching Topics to Students
by Aitor Vázquez Veloso, IFSA Palencia President
On November 24th, LC IFSA Palencia (Spain) hosted an event where the students had the opportunity to know the topics researched at University Institute of Sustainable Forest Management (iuFOR) groups.
At this event, the iuFOR director, Belén Turrión, introduced what iuFOR is, which opportunities the students have (as degree/master/PhD student or worker), and how their activity was growing during the time until this moment.
As IFSA Palencia was the main organiser of this event, the LC was introduced to the students. After that, representatives of the different research groups had the opportunity to present the topic they work on, and also representatives of some companies and research centres could introduce what kind of work they are developing with the iuFOR groups.
That is, by the moment, the biggest activity promoted by IFSA Palencia, founded last June, and integrated at this moment by more than 25 people.
