West Norfolk organisations are invited to two online Meet the Funder Sessions:

  • GrantScape – 26th November from 11am – 12 midday.

  • The National Lottery Community Fund – 6th December from 10.30am – 12 midday.

Short deadlines

Recovery Loan Fund

Loans are available to support charities and social enterprises who have been impacted by the pandemic, to help them recover and grown.  Loans are available for one to six years in the following:

  • £100,000 - £1.5 million.

  • £50,000 - £1.5 million got BAME led organisations (defined as having a Board or Management Team that are 51% or more made up of people with BAME backgrounds). 

The loans can be used for business purposes by organisations which improve lives or the environment.  The deadline for applications is Sun 21st November.  For more information, please click the button below. 


 

Outdoor Learning Officer Grants

Grants of up to £15,000 (per year for up to three years) are available to fund an Outdoor Learning Officer for organisations with projects that engage young people with the countryside and environment. Collaborate Fund 

Grants of £5,000 - £20,000 are available for culture sector organisations to work in partnership with academic researchers to explore and more deeply understand your practice and to communicate the cultural value of your work more effectively.  The deadline for Expressions of Interest is Weds 24th November.  For more information, please click the button below. 


 

Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust

The following grants are available from the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust:

  • Northern Ireland programme - for work which will contribute at a strategic level to the ongoing transformation of the Northern Ireland conflict.

  • Peace and Security programme - supporting projects aimed at working towards the creation of a peaceful and just world. 

  • Power and Accountability programme - supporting people to create a world in which power is more equally shared, and in which powerful institutions are responsive and accountable to wider society and aligned with the long-term public interest.

  • Rights and Justice programme - to support projects aimed at promoting racial justice and equality of opportunity as a basis for a harmonious multi-racial, multi-ethnic society

  • Sustainable Future programme - to enable organisations to develop and promote sustainable, low-carbon alternatives to the current consumerist and growth-based paradigm.

Archives Revealed Scoping Grants

Grants of up to £3,000 are available to help analyse collections, to inform the future planning of cataloguing priorities and projects.  The deadline for applications is midday Mon 29th November.  For more information, please click the button below. 


 

National Lottery Grants for Heritage

Grants are available to support the heritage sector to recover from the pandemic.  Grants are available in the following:

  • £3,000 to £10,000 for not-for-profit organisations and private owners of heritage.

  • £10,000 to £100,000 for not-for-profit organisations, private owners of heritage and partnerships.

  • £100,000 to £5 million for not-for-profit organisations and partnerships led by not-for-profit organisations.

Priority will be show to projects which:

  • Boost the local economy

  • Encourage skills development and job creation

  • Support wellbeing

  • Create better places to live, work and visit

  • Improve the resilience of organisations working in heritage

There are no deadlines for applications under £250,000.  The deadline for applications over £250,000 is midday on Mon 29th November.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Little Lives Children's Community Support

Grants of up to £1,500 are available for organisations that work with children, which might be struggling with the impact of the pandemic.  The deadline for applications is Tues 30th November.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Co-op Community Dividend Fund

Grants of £100 - £5,000 are available for not-for-profit organisations which make a positive difference in their community.  Projects will align with one of the following:

  • Access to food – improving access to food in a way that encourages healthy, balanced choices to be made

  • Health and wellbeing - projects that directly or indirectly promote physical and mental health and wellbeing

  • Inclusion projects - directly or indirectly support greater inclusion of vulnerable, excluded, or hard to reach groups

  • Environment – inside and outside spaces that support increased sustainability e.g., energy saving projects, sustainable travel, biodiversity and food security.

Diss Town Council Community Grants

Projects and activities that benefit the residents of Diss can apply for grants from a pot of £20,000.  There are two grant themes:

  • Project grants - one-off grants for the purchase of equipment or services to provide or improve a facility or activity for the residents of Diss.

  • Development grants - grants to support the development of successful projects that aim to expand their reach within the community and/or expand the remit of the original project.

Baily Thomas Charitable Fund

Grants are available for organisations providing support to people with learning disabilities.  There are two levels of grant:

  • Small Grants: from £250 to £5,000.

  • General Grants: over £10,000.

Funding can be used for capital and revenue costs.  Small Grant applications are welcome at any time.  The deadline for General Grants is Weds 1st December.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Hospital Saturday Fund Large Grants

Grants of up to £10,000 are available for registered charities with medical projects, care, research, or support of medical training.  The funding can be used for capital or revenue costs.  The deadline for applications is Weds 1st December.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Youth Music Fund A

Grants of £2,000 - £30,000 are available to organisations working with young people (aged from 0 – 25).  Priority areas are:

  • Early years

  • Disabled young people

  • Young adults

  • Youth justice system

  • Young people facing barriers

  • Organisations and the workforce

Association of Mental Health Providers and Bupa Foundation’s Helpline Fund

Grants of up to £5,000 are available for mental health VCSE organisations with an established helpline (Which have been registered / operational for at least two years.  Eligible applicants will have a turnover of less than £250,000.  The deadline for applications is Fri 3rd December.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Hope Fund

Grants of up to £10,000 are available for projects which provide access to a safe place to live, tackle the causes and impacts of homelessness - as well as homelessness itself - or empower people who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness to take control and get past the challenges in their way.  The deadline for applications is Mon 6th December.  For more information, please click the button below. 


 

Archives Revealed Cataloguing Grants

Grants of up to £45,000 are available for organisations to create catalogues of important archival collections.  Applicants must have access to professional archive expertise and must make their collections accessible to people outside their organisation.  The deadline for applications is Mon 13th December.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Help the Homeless Grants

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to organisations which help people affected by homelessness return to the community and resume a normal life.  The deadline for applications is Weds 15th December.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Ulverscroft Foundation

Grants are available for projects that benefit the visually impaired.  Funding is at discretionary but has ranged between £100 to £500,000.  The deadline for applications is Weds 15th December.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Ironmongers' Company

Grants of up to £10,000 are available for registered charities with projects that help disadvantaged children and young people (under 25 years old) to reach their potential.  Preference will be shown to pilot projects where the outcomes will be shared to a wider audience.  The deadline for applications is Weds 15th December.  For more information, please click the button below. 


UK Community Tree Planting Programme

Grants are available for community projects that plant, protect, and care for native species of trees, in land that the public can visit.  Funding is available in two streams.

  • Up to £1,000 for projects of up to one year.

  • Up to £6,000 for large-scale projects planting between 1,000 and 5,000 trees.

Projects will meet one of the following:

  • Engage children and young adults in tree planting and learning about trees.

  • Engage vulnerable groups and groups with low access to woodlands.

  • Conserve existing ancient trees and indigenous woodlands as well as new planting.

  • Create biodiversity habitat.

  • Conserve soil and water.

  • Demonstrate new approaches such as agroforestry.

  • Support rewilding and natural regeneration.

  • Support work or research on tree pest and disease resistance and climate change. adaptation.

  • Support urban tree planting.

Woodward Charitable Trust Small Grants

Grants of up to £3,000 for core costs are available to charities working with one of the following:

  • Isolated children and young people,

  • Disadvantaged families,

  • Prisoners and ex-offenders.

Preference will be shown to projects which promote community cohesion and the development of skills that change the outlook of the beneficiary.  The deadline for applications is midday on Fri 17th December.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Tree Council Branching Out Fund

Grants of £300 - £1,500 are available for schools and community groups with tree, orchard, and hedge planting projects (Preferably taking place in National Tree Week) that involve children and young people (Aged up to 21).  The deadline for applications is Fri 17th December.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Tenders

Youth Endowment Fund

Tenders are invited from organisations working with families and carers to create a supportive home environment for children aged 6 – 14 years (or up to 18 if they have SEND or are in the care system.) to reduce the likelihood of them becoming involved in violence.  They plan to award £6 million - £10 million between 5 – 10 different programmes.  This round focuses on four key themes:

  • Parenting programmes (including programmes for foster carers or people working with children in residential care), which help parents and their children to develop positive behaviours and relationships.

  • Family therapy interventions (including for children in foster care), which offer whole families structured forms of therapy.

  • Programmes to reduce parental conflict, which improve relationships between parents or carers.

  • Domestic abuse interventions, which prevent and reduce harm to children and adults.

Expressions of interest to provide Support and Enablement at Haspalls, Swaffham

Documents can be requested until 10am on Sun 21st November 
Norfolk County Council would like to invite you to a discussion about a proposed Supported Living service in Swaffham. Given the current market circumstances we would like feedback regarding the viability of developing a new service over the next six months.

 

Social Recovery for 15 to 18 year olds

Documents can be requested until 10am on Mon 6th December
Norfolk County Council, working in partnership with Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT), wishes to award a contract to a Provider to undertake a social recovery project for 15-18 year olds who are NEET, or at risk of becoming NEET.  The successful Provider will deliver holistic wrap around Social Recovery Support for young people who are at risk of NEET in year 11, and young people 16-18 who are NEET, and who are not ready to engage in Education, Employment or Training provision due to emotional health & wellbeing needs. NHS Health Checks Catch-Up Programme

Documents can be requested until 11am on Mon 13th December
Norfolk County Council Public Health is seeking to award a contract to Provider(s) to deliver an NHS Health Check service on a fixed-term basis to assist in a catch-up project for the NHS Health Check programme within the County. The NHS Health Check programme is a public health programme in England for people aged 40 – 74 which aims to keep people well for longer, as described in detail at http://www.healthcheck.nhs.uk. In Norfolk, NHS Health Checks are predominantly delivered in GP and Pharmacy settings, however because of the COVID pandemic, primary care has experienced significant disruption throughout 2020/21, which has impacted the delivery of this programme. Full details of our requirements are detailed in the service specification.

 

Framework Agreement for Tutors to Children and Young People

Norfolk County Council wishes to procure an open framework with a range of providers delivering face to face and on-line tutorial services. The framework will be for 5 years, with the option to extend for up to a further 5 years; subject to agreement of Norfolk County Council with the service providers. The Council is subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and will be carrying out this procurement in accordance with the Light Touch Regime which applies to education and children’s services.  Bids may be submitted at any time.  

 

Public Health Primary Care Contract

Applications are invited to deliver primary care services (formerly called local enhanced services), which have been divided into the following lots:

  • Lot 1A – NHS Healthcheck Programme: the identification and invitation of the eligible population.            

  • Lot 1B – NHS Healthcheck Programme: delivery of the NHS Health Check (including Standard Operating Procedures).        

  • Lot 1C – NHS Healthcheck Programme: Community Records Update.            

  • Lot 2A – National Chlamydia Screening Programme, Emergency Hormone Contraception (EHC) and Pregnancy Testing.            

  • Lot 2B – Fitting and management of contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices (IUD) / Intrauterine Systems (IUS).            

  • Lot 3A – Stop Smoking service provision.            

  • Lot 3B – Supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).

Providers can apply for one or any combination of Lots.
