The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Bureau of Equal Opportunity (PennDOT BEO) and P3 Office are hosting a virtual outreach event with the three Shortlisted Proposers for PennDOT Pathways Major Bridge P3 Initiative.
The focus of this networking event will be professional services contracting opportunities related to pre-development work for the PDA Phase of the initiative (e.g., engineering design, environmental engineering, engineering data collection/testing, legal services, accounting services, banking, insurance, etc.). The outreach event will consist of two unique sessions, with separate registrations, and participants are encouraged to attend both sessions.
Session 1 will be a group presentation beginning with an overview of the PennDOT Pathways Major Bridge P3 Initiative, the Project’s DBE goals and the introduction of the three Shortlisted Proposers, presented by PennDOT’s Bureau of Equal Opportunity (BEO) and P3 Office.
During Session 2, DBE firms will have an opportunity to meet one-to-one with each of the Shortlisted Proposers. DBE firms will be assigned time slots, and they will be able to enter the designated virtual breakout room at the appointed time. Each session will last between 5 and 15 minutes (depending on the number of DBE firms registered for the event) wherein representatives from DBE firms can introduce themselves and their firm to each of the three Shortlisted Proposers. In order to participate in the virtual breakout sessions, DBE firms must be a certified PA UCP DBE and must have completed their Annual DBE Needs Assessment (ana.penndbe.com) within the last 9 months.
