Since Philadelphia started using the ExpressVote XL voting machines in November 2019, POVPhilly has been tracking the experiences of Philadelphia voters and election workers using this equipment. We’re also looking at election procedures, poll worker training, and more.
We hope you’ll help by answering a brief survey about your election-day experience in Philadelphia.
- If you worked the polls, particularly if you were the machine inspector, your observations are especially important.
- If you voted on a machine this past election and experienced any kind of difficulty or problem, we want to hear about it.

Think back carefully on your election experience on November 2. If you have anything to report, please take a few minutes to fill out the survey. With your help, we can make sure every election runs smoother than the last.
Please include issues even if you already reported them, or believe others reported them, to the Board of Elections (the Board does not publish any information on what problems and issues arose). This survey is intended to shed some light so that problems can be addressed.
