Dear <<First Name *>>,

It’s not about the trains, it’s about the people and communities.

This year the Rail Passengers Association had the honor of conducting research for our partner, the Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority. Based on our findings, restoring the North Coast Hiawatha as a daily Amtrak service could generate some $271 million each year in economic benefits to the seven states served while costing Amtrak roughly $68 million per year to operate.

“This route would be economically and socially transformational for urban, rural and tribal communities in Montana and throughout the Greater Northwest Region.” said Missoula Country Commissioner Dave Strohmaier.
The existence of Amtrak buoys the economies of hundreds of towns and cities all across America. This is why we fight.

I hope you will join our fight by accepting the Giving Tuesday Challenge! A generous Rail Passengers Association couple has made a $10,000 donation and would like to challenge their fellow passenger rail advocates to match their support making all donations between now and Tuesday go twice as far. Donate Today!

Gratefully,
