In brief
  • TEQ will launch a new campaign in New South Wales and Victoria early next month to encourage last-minute bookings over the December/January holiday period. Operators can get involved by loading a Holiday Deal to the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse - this will appear on the campaign landing page - queensland.com/holidaydeals. The deal doesn't need to be a discount - it can be a value add, or simply your best price for your available gaps in bookings. Here's how to load your deal - there is no charge to load one, and it's quick and easy.

  • We have been successful in securing a contestable grant for Mountain Bike Tourism through the Government’s Covid-19 Economic Recovery Plan and will work closely with TEQ and industry to deliver the campaign initiative.

  • Austrade’s Export Market Development Grants program has changed and applications close at 5:00pm AEDT (4:00pm Queensland time) on 30 November 2021.

  • The Australian Federal Government is delivering a free National Online Jobs Fair for the Hospitality & Tourism sectors. To be held Thursday 25 November from 1-5pm AEDT.
