Principal Update

The stretch from Thanksgiving to Christmas is a special time at school. We teach students about the importance of gratitude and we discuss the importance of sharing with those in need. As we stride near Advent, we work hard to help students understand and experience the true meaning of Christmas.

For many, this is a time of joy, anticipation, and togetherness. Most of us are busy, running around and attending special events. For those with broken or hurting families, this may be a time where you experience those wounds differently.

As you prepare for your Thanksgiving and Advent seasons at home, please partner with us in emphasizing gratitude, sharing, and the true meaning of these seasons. To help you, in the next few weeks, we will include suggestions of activities and discussions you might have at home to help keep a Christian focus on the season. Let us not get lost in gift and commercialism, but let us grow closer to our family and Christ during this season.

Free Advent Reflections, Every Morning

Psalm 118:24 reminds us: “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” One reason for joy is the gift of God’s Word. With Daily Reflections viewers can encounter the gift that is God’s Word every morning as Dr. Tim Gray opens the Scriptures. With Advent fast approaching, there has never been a better time to sign up for Daily Reflections to prepare for the coming of the Messiah at Christmas.
