Free Webinar on Behalf of AccessGA: Accessibility of Fillable Forms: An Overview (1 of 2) - Wednesday, Dec. 1st: 11:00AM to 12:00PM ET

This webinar is being offered through AccessGA, a joint initiative of the State ADA Coordinator's Office – Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission, and the Georgia Institute of Technology's Center for Inclusive Design & Innovation.

The value and importance of state agencies and Higher Ed institutions providing fillable forms in electronic format has increased exponentially in recent years. With the increase in telecommuting across the board during a pandemic, successful integration of fillable forms has become front and center for everyone. Ensuring that fillable forms are fully accessible, regardless of ability, is paramount. This webinar will provide an overview of the options available for fillable forms, along with the pros and cons of each from an accessibility standpoint. These options will include the creation of fillable forms through PDFs, native HTML, and survey platforms (MS Forms, Alchemer, Survey Monkey, and Google Forms). Cost of software applications, subscriptions, and follow-up resources will also be discussed.
