Luke Buescher Uganda

Dear Friends and Family, I pray this letter finds you abiding in the love and joy of our Savior.
Hey Everyone! First, let me apologize for the incredible backlog of emails and message sitting in my inbox right now. between traveling to Mexico, then turning around and traveling to Uganda, and now trying to get a trip together to go to India, I have not managed to respond to each of you who have sent me messages and birthday wishes. Second, I wanted to sit down and try to quickly fire off this email to give an update on a few things.

My Leg: As many of you know I had a doctors appointment schedule for the week before I went to Mexico. I had x rays done, and even an MRI to Check out the cartilage and ligaments. Everything turned out to be doing great! after seeing my initial X-ray (taken a week after the break), the doctor told me I was almost for sure going to need surgery. following the X-ray at their office, the doctor was shocked at seeing how perfectly my bones had heal in the right place. comparing the two X-rays, she said she had never before seen bones shift, to that extent, into the right place on their own without surgery.

Mexico: My trip to Mexico was an incredible blessing. being able to reconnect with my "familia de Mexico", and see how the church and ministry there have grown was easily the most refreshing part of my whole trip back.

India: Lord willing, I will be traveling to India within the next few weeks. Pastor Fred's daughter, Faith, has received a scholarship to study Cardiology in India, and will be joining the University this semester. Because Neither Fred nor Faith have ever traveled oversees before, they both said it would be a comfort to them for me to travel with them. The details of the trip are still up in the air, lockdown restrictions and an imminent start to the semester have been the cause of my business since I touched down in Uganda. Please pray for all the details of the trip, especially the visa process for Fred and I. Tourist visas to India only Just opened up again today, and there are a lot of seemingly contradictory rules in place.

Finally: I want to say thank you to all of you who made my trip back to the states/Mexico such a blessing. I was so thankful to be able to connect with every one of you who I saw (even though some of the meeting we only brief).
