Seeking NL Exhibitors
Oceanology International
March 15th-17th, 2022

Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI), in partnership with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, the Atlantic Provinces, and partners are seeking to recruit NL ocean technology companies interested in co-exhibiting within the Canada pavilion at the
Oceanology International (Oi) 2022 live event in London UK, March 15-17, 2022. The Canada Pavilion will be home to 24 Canadian companies (up to 20 from Atlantic Canada).

Organizers are hoping to increase their recruitment in NL before the registration deadline on November 19, 2021.

Oceanology International is the leading forum where industry, academia and government share knowledge and connect with the world’s marine science and ocean technology communities. Oi runs every two years. The three-day conference and exhibition returns to ExCel London in 2022 aiming for over 8,000 attendees and 500+ exhibitors to showcase the latest ocean technologies and developments.

As a co-exhibitor in the Canada pavilion, each recruited company will receive:
  • Individual co-exhibitor booth space within pavilion
  • Display counter and locked cabinet
  • 2 chairs / stools
  • Carpet
  • Electricity
  • Optional booth items (e.g. tv screens/monitors) will be available to rent at additional cost. Each company is responsible for cost of all travel, accommodation, and meals while in market.
Cost
$2500 + HST per company (payable online by credit card).

Registration Process
The link to register is: https://www.novascotiabusiness.com/events/trade-mission-oceanology-international-london-2022. Payment is due at time of registration.

Deadline
There are a limited number of booths available within the Canada pavilion and strong demand is expected. Registrations will be confirmed pending screening by the trade mission organizing committee for eligibility and suitability to participate as payment is received. The final deadline for all registrations is November 19, 2021. If your company is not selected to participate in the Canada pavilion, a refund will be issued.

COVID-19 Impacts
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve in Canada and internationally, the Canadian group participation at Oceanology International 2022 will be subject to any health and travel restrictions that may apply. If it is not possible for the trade mission / Canada Pavilion to proceed, companies will receive a full refund of their participation fees.

Joining the delegation as a walker (no booth)
NL companies that are interested in participating as part of the Canadian delegation, but do not want to exhibit, may join the delegation as a show walker. This can be a great option for newer or smaller companies.

You will receive delegate communications and be invited to participate in any delegation events or info sessions. There is no fee to participate in the Trade Mission as a walker, however, NL companies are responsible for covering the costs of any show admission tickets, costs of all travel, hotels, meals and incidentals. If you would like to join the delegation as a walker, please note your interest by emailing barchibald@nsbi.ca.

For further information or questions, please contact Bridget Archibald, Export Development Executive, Nova Scotia Business Inc (NSBI) at barchibald@nsbi.ca or 902 424 1901.

In addition, companies who plan to walk the show do not need to register using the link- but please contact Bridget Archibald at barchibald@nsbi.ca to be added to the email distribution list for communications.
