CCEC November 2021 Newsletter

CCEC has been busy over the last few month. We spent October recovering and supporting the recovery of our community from Hurricane Ida.  We want to THANK all of the wonderful volunteers who supported this work and made it possible.         Our AfterSchool Program Monday-Friday starting January 10th.  If you have an Elementary school aged youth that wants to connect with their peers please register here for our ongoing mental health, academic and technology support Our BookClub continues to meet each Saturday at 10AM.  This month we are reading It's Not All Downhill from Here: A Novel by Terry McMillan     We will continue to have food box "commodities"  giveaway the first Monday of each Month.  On November 23rd beginning at 11AM we will giveaway 100 boxes with Turkeys on a first come, first serve basis.       CCEC will close from November 24, 2021 - December 2, 2021 to observe the Thanksgiving Holiday and to prepare for a vibrant and exciting 2022.    Looking Ahead to December: On Saturday, December 18 we will have our annual Christmas Program and Meal for the community.    Join us 10AM for a free gift, photos with Santa and a gift for attendees.       CCEC will close for the end of the year from December 19-Januray 2nd, 2022.
