NOVEMBER 17, 2021
Throughout the week, you can tune in via our TV channels,  YouTube channel, or video-on-demand on our website. Want to tune in but don't have cable?
We're now streaming the Community Channel 24/7
(and thanks to a new partnership with River Valley Tech Center, we will soon be streaming the Education / Government channel 24/7....more to come on that!)
Okemo State Forest Gets Addition
This Summer, the Mt. Holly Conservation Trust announced the new parcel of land that has been added to the Okemo State Forest, connecting a contiguous tract of public land between the Coolidge State Forest and Okemo Mountain. We are showcasing our recording of the great "unveiling" this week on the Community channel & next week on the Ed. / Gov't channel.
Soccer Playoffs!
Green Mountain boys' semi-final game is playing this week.  Watch as they take on Vergennes in the Division 3 state semi-final game. Thanks to Sara Stowell for providing us with coverage of this big game. And Amy Mosher has been bringing us all of the coverage this season - so thank you Amy!
Deer Hunting Season is upon us so we take a look back at an older "Stuck in VT"....it's the Deer Season episode. So check it out before heading out into the woods or  going up to camp. Stuck in VT is a regular series that we carry produced by Seven Days' Eva Solleberger.
This Thanksgiving, let's take a look back at  "The Great Turkey Drive" presentation from Black River Academy Museum, about the period during the 1800s and early 1900s, when farmers in VT drove their turkeys to Boston for sale.
Local Church Services...
Each week, we receive & televise church services from St. James United Methodist Church, Ludlow Baptist Church & the Catholic Diocese. We also have a new service from Calvary Church in Proctorsville.  All church services are posted to the website, as well as televised on the Community Channel. See more HERE!
Local School Programming...
Each week, we feature a block of programming from the local schools. This week, we take a look back the original play "Give Fleece a Chance"  performed by the 2018 6th grade class of CTES. (written & directed by Cavendish Fletcher Community Library Director Kata Welch)
More Shows!
We're on Roku & Apple TV!
Are you down with OTT? ("Over the Top", that is).
If you subscribe to a streaming service, the answer is yes. And if you use Roku or Apple TV, you can watch local programming on Okemo Valley TV through the Cablecast Screenweave app. All you need to do is download it (it's free!). More info here.
"Gavel-to-gavel" Local Meeting Coverage...is ongoing!
Also playing daily on the Ed / Gov’t channel.
Check our our meeting playback guide to find out which meetings play when. And all local meetings are available on our website.
See all past & present newsletters & station news HERE!
