Support for a Neighborhood Family

In October, a traumatic incident in our Highwood community forced families to move out of their apartment building without any notice. One of the families has not been able to find affordable housing, and has been forced to live in temporary housing for the time being. With the enormous shortage of affordable rentals and the limited amount of rentals that take housing vouchers, they are facing an uncertain future. The family not only lost their housing, but much of their personal items as well.
