THANK YOU to everyone who joined us on November 10th for our special Founders’ Circle event. It was wonderful to see you!

We understand that some of you were unable to attend so we recorded the event for viewing at your convenience.

At the event, we provided an update on our search for a new President and shared some of our exciting plans for 2022.

Jo DeBolt, Board Vice Chair, and Dr. Veena Khandke, Director of Grants & Partnerships, gave a presentation on the new Transformation Partnerships that we will be launching next year. These Partnerships will build on the successes of our Sustained and Impact Partnership grants and allow us to delve even deeper into the root causes of global gender equality. If you would like to learn more about creating broader, systemic change for women and girls, please be sure to read Scott Osborne’s blog in the last issue of The Dish.

It was great to share this “sneak peek” with you, our Founders’ Circle members, and to hear your questions and feedback. We will be announcing our plans to our membership-at-large in early December.

We also had the opportunity to meet Deborah Puretz-Grove, a Rise member and renowned artist whose pieces are included in more than 40 public and private collections in the US, including the New York Public Library and the Fogg Art Museum at Harvard.

Deb has generously donated many pieces of her artwork -- each valued at $1,000 -- for Rise donors who give $5,000 or more to our 2021 Annual Appeal, or anyone who joins our Legacy Society by including Rise in their will. Please visit Deb’s website to learn more about her artwork and her process.

If you would like to discuss your 2021 Annual Appeal gift, please contact Betsy Smulyan, our Interim President & CEO, at president@togetherwomenrise.org. You can also make your gift online by clicking the link below.
