Blue Tree Project for Mental Health

The Rotary Club of Kununurra did a wonderful job helping to Lift the Lid on Mental Illness during Mental Health Month, by getting involved in the Blue Tree Project.

Members of the club painted a tree blue in their local community, in the hope that it might be a prompt for people to check in on friends and family, or to find the courage to ask for help when they're not doing okay themselves.

They will be adding QR codes to the tree that will take people directly to the Blue Tree Project website, which has an extensive list of support services.

What a great initiative!
