Developing Literacy in Primary Schools
NEW DATES!
Following on from the very positive response to the EEF's Preparing for Literacy training that supported colleagues working in Early Years, we are delighted to be offering a training programme for those working across KS1 & KS2.
Starting in January 2022 and running to May 2022 this nine module, hybrid programme will be divided into 5 blended sessions of carefully spaced professional learning both online and face to face. The programme will be centered on the key research insights from 3 EEF Guidance Reports: Improving Literacy in KS1, Improving Literacy in KS2 and Putting Evidence to Work - A School's Guide to Implementation.

Early Career Teacher (ECT) Termly Zoom Session

These sessions are designed to keep Bristol ECTs and other interested teachers up to date with pedagogical-related research and effective practice. They will enable ECTs and teachers to: reflect on their practice, acquire skills and top tips to trial in the classroom, listen to experts and keep up to date with the latest evidence-informed effective practice.

Effective Learning Behaviours programme
We continue working with colleagues from Somerset schools to bring together and share invaluable expertise on this hybrid modular programme, drawing upon the evidence represented in 5 Guidance Reports from the EEF.
Our next online twilight session is on Thursday 2nd December 16.00 - 17-30. The focus will be on Metacognition and Self Regulated Learning, working with parents to support children's learning.
