November 2021

Dear Friends, Colleagues and Partners,

November has proven once again to be a very busy month, despite the Covid restrictions largely still in place. The good receiver figures delivered by the Indian car industry and the focus on the energy savings delivered through DRM are explored in detail and with extra information below. We also have an evaluation of the recently launched energy efficiency calculator which is free to use and essential for getting realistic values for possible energy savings to be delivered by your transmitters in DRM.

A bit more information on receivers and their costs was occasioned by a general question received by the Consortium and we think the full answer might be of interest to you.

Another short video on the how DRM technology can help save lives with the emergency warning feature, is being launched today on the back of the longer corporate video.

If you want to know where DRM is in the world, you will be pleased to access our latest update now also available on the drm.org website.

We have also announced our virtual event on the eve of the annual IBC event scheduled in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, at the beginning of December and you can already book the best seats in town but scrolling down here. Due to the Covid restrictions in the Netherlands, with great regret, we have had to cancel the “live” event scheduled for December 4th.

Some of the latest news and audio recordings are captured on our new Instagram account.

The Q@A section of the newsletter has taken off and your questions are much appreciated. Please keep them coming!

Finally, please do not forget to join us onTwitterYouTube, Instagram and Flickr.  And if you want to join the Consortium please contact projectoffice@drm.org
