Vocal & Organ Recital on November 19
Viktor and Yuliia Billa will offer a Vocal and Organ Recital on Friday, November 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Trinity United Methodist Church, 120 West Park Avenue, Tallahassee. This extraordinarily gifted team will offer compositions by Bach, Franck and Slavicky for organ and music by Mozart and Ravel for voice. The recital is free and open to the public as well as being live streamed on YouTube. For those attending in person, masks and physical distancing will be required.

A Message from Your Stewardship Committee
As we enter the last week of Stewardship Season, we encourage you to prepare your financial gift commitment card which you may submit by regular mail, by email here, or in person at Giving Sunday, November 21st. Warm Clothing Needed
For most of us, the recent change in weather hasn't been a cause for concern, as we dig out the winter clothes from the back of our closet, or go to the store to buy new items. But for many, who may sleep outside or don't have the funds for new clothing, the low temperatures can be a real hardship.
McKinsey's Closet at Calvary UMC is in desperate need of winter clothing donations. They are specifically looking for:
- Men's & women's winter coats, all sizes
- Men's shoes, especially tennis shoes
- Men's clothing, especially pants in sizes 32-36
- Men's & women's underwear, all sizes
They receive donations on Monday mornings from 8:30 to 11:00 AM and on Wednesdays or other days by appointment, at Calvary UMC at 218 Ausley Rd. Tallahassee FL 32304. Call Bob McSmith at (850) 576-4066 or Pastor Bill Petersen at (850) 510-7759 to set up a time for drop-off.

Chili Fundraiser
Trinity Youth will be selling lots of wonderful chili, cornbread, and sweets, along with sodas and hot cocoa, during the downtown Winter Festival! Tickets will be on sale starting November 17, but you can also just stop by that night and buy a bowl of chili from us right in front of our church. This great event is one of our fundraisers to help our youth fund their upcoming mission trips with the Appalachian Service Project this summer!

It's back! Cookies with Santa returns this year, now located on the front steps of the church! Come visit Santa, enjoy a cookie, and stop by the Youth Chili tent afterward. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Come hear our very own Julianne Clayton speak at a special Advent luncheon! This event is hosted by St. John's Episcopal Church and Lively Cafe on December 6th at 12 p.m. Proceeds benefit the local work being done by the International Rescue Committee.

Calling All 4th-12th Graders! Acolytes Needed!
We are eager to get our Acolyte program back up and running, and we need YOU! What is an acolyte you might ask? Well, they are children and youth that serve during the worship service by lighting and extinguishing the candles at the start and finish of worship. They are responsible for bringing the light of God into our worship space, and then carrying it out into the world. Our congregation loves to see our children and youth involved in worship, and this is a very special way to do so. Interested in learning more? BFC – Becoming Fit at Church Class Schedule (via ZOOM)
- Staying Strong – Tues/Thurs 9:30 a.m. – easy, gentle exercise including flexibility. Seated or standing. Beginner or returning to exercise.
- Variety Mix – Tues/Thurs 11:00 a.m. – full body work out using a variety of equipment. Intermediate to Advanced.
- Flexibility for a Better YOU – Mon 9:45 a.m./Thurs 12:15 p.m. – foam rolling followed by full body stretching. Mat/Floor flexibility.
- BFO - Becoming Fit Outdoors – Wed 6:30 p.m. –- Family and pet (on a leash) friendly walking/hiking at your own pace. Meets outdoors on a different Tallahassee Trail each week.
