Pre-recorded presentation is now available for viewing.
Integrated Mental Health Treatment Guidelines for Prescribers in IDD
Presented by Dr. Jennifer McLaren, Andrea Caoili, and Melanie Hecker

This training will review the foundation for and process of developing the Integrated Mental Health Treatment Guidelines for Prescribers in IDD available for free through the Center for START Services and funded by the WITH Foundation. There is a significant overlap of individuals who are diagnosed with both a mental health diagnosis and an intellectual and/or developmental disability. Health care providers receive minimal guidance and training specific to providing treatment to this population and the system of support. The development of these guidelines aimed to bridge a current gap in resources for prescribers.
