Please join us in praying for Mary and Dr. John Frame, as well as their family today. Mary will undergo an emergency partial craniotomy late this afternoon, following the discovery of a mass near her ear. It's currently unknown if the mass is cancerous, but this surgery will tell us more. She is currently admitted at AdventHealth South Hospital on Rollins Street.
For the past month, Mary has been nauseous and has experienced pains and inabilities of various kinds. She has not been able to eat for several days, prompting a brain scan, and leading the Frames to this point.
Pray for the surgeons and doctors charged with Mary's care. Pray for positive outcomes from today's procedure. Pray for Mary's comfort and calm. Pray for comfort and encouragement for Dr. Frame and their children.
"You designed our bodies, O Lord, with a wondrous capacity for regeneration and healing. You give wisdom and knowledge and skill to those who by long training in their professions learn to diagnose and treat ailments of the body. And you, by your Spirit, sometimes effect miracles of healing that even the most skilled of practitioners cannot duplicate.
"Whether the end result of this procedure brings news that is good, bad, or uncertain, nothing that is essential or eternal will have changed.
"We pray for good outcomes from this procedure, O Lord.
"But we know that regardless of the tidings to come, you are tender and present and sovereign over all circumstance, Amen."
