Dear Friend,

What a wonderful season it is to be a part of the Grace Place family!  It has been such a joy to reunite with our families at our recent Graceful Gatherings events.  If you have not attended a gathering yet, there is one right around the corner!

On Friday, December 10, we will meet again, this time with a special holiday concert performed by our own Grace Notes Choir! Our partners at UT Health San Antonio will then present on Fall Prevention and Home Safety.  During this event, our seniors with dementia will participate in special holiday-themed activities. There is still time to sign up! Click here for more information.

If you are unable to attend, please visit with us during our virtual Caregiver Support Group on Saturday, December 11th where we will share resources, support, and tips with you.  There is also a variety of events still taking place in the community this month. Please see the sections below for details on the group and community events.

This month we want to send out a great big word of appreciation to NuStar Energy! NuStar will be sponsoring the December at-home activities going to our clients through our Grace At Home Program. We are always enrolling new families to this service.

Finally, I want to encourage you all to remember to manage your own stress during the holiday season.  I know that it can be difficult to navigate the holidays while providing care for a loved one with dementia. In order to help, here is a list of 10 Tips For Caregivers To Manage The Holiday Stress

Please have a wonderful holiday and remember we are here for anything you may need!

Warm regards,
Christina Avena
