In a rapidly changing Covid landscape, we caught up with our Founder & CEO, Bheki Dube, on the uncertainty the pandemic has had on travel and tourism and the way to a 'pastpresentfuture'.
"What Covid has done, it has shifted our conscious for better or worse right? What we've observed is that even during this time; when the privilege of travel is stripped away, people still want to connect with stories. We’ve seen that happen with our virtual immersions.
As people navigate the pandemic, we will see everyone really wanting to go in-depth and to connect with things in real life (IRL) and through real stories. That's the new shift towards the awakening of travel and tourism.
Gone are the days where people just want to mere rubberneck. Humans want to connect with humans, and with our CURIOCITY offerings we will shepard people to these narratives which are shaping the environments that we’re in. Our guests will have an opportunity to connect at core and at heart and have the flexibility to choose their type of stay."
