WEBSITE LAUNCH
We are thrilled to announce the introduction of our brand-new website. Behind the scenes, we've been hard at work to build a new, fresh, modern, and user-friendly website. We hope you like our new look...check it out today!
Our children’s outreach worker was recently interviewed by BBC Radio Nottingham about the work she does with children who are or have been affected by domestic abuse. We also hear from a parent and survivor whose daughter was supported through our children’s outreach service.
NIDAS #MakeThePromise Campaign & 16 Days of Activism
As part of White Ribbon Day 2021 and #16DaysOfActivism we launched our #MakeThePromise campaign which will focussed on the importance of speaking out and breaking the silence around domestic abuse. We invited local businesses and organisations to get involved and support us making a pledge to say 'no' to male violence against women.
We would like to say thank you to everyone who got involved and supported us with our campaign:
Ashfield District Council
MFP Linings
Nottinghamshire Police
Students at West Notts College
Notts SVSS
NIDAS Christmas Jumper Day
On Friday 17th December we are holding our very own Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for families affected by domestic abuse.
Your help is very important to us.
Please support us by wearing a Christmas jumper on this day and donating just £1.00 by scanning our QR code (which you can find on our event poster below) or visit www.nidas.org.uk/donate/ . Please show your support by sharing your selfies on social media!
You can still nominate us in Ecclesiastical’s 12 days of giving.
£1,000 could make a real difference to the work we do supporting families affected by domestic abuse.
Click ‘nominate now’ on the website and enter our details. Thanks for your support! movementforgood.com/12days The more nominations we get, the greater our chance of winning, so please spread the word.
Want to know how to make your gift really count this year? 🎁
Help us help those who need us the most this Christmas by donating through our fundraising partner @GiveasyouLive. 💝 Every single heartfelt donation will help us continue to provide the service our users so desperately need over the festive season.
Our 10-week Programme helps women learn more about the reality of domestic violence and abuse. We aim to help victims of domestic abuse make sense of and understand what has happened to them.
