Demystifying Conference Proposals
|
|
|
Looking for more info on the conference proposal process? Look no further.
In this workshop, participants will practice ways to transform their personal experiences into educational materials. Participants will also learn to use promising practices for writing a strong conference proposal.
Many general conferences value diverse forms of presentations, including practice-based workshops, interactive learning experiences, performances and art pieces, and personal story-sharing. Know that your personal experiences as a member or ally of the LGBTQIA community can serve as a powerful educational tool that inspires others.

Looking for a break from finals week?
Stop by and pick up a book or two! Our library has hundreds (maybe even thousands) of queer books, from short pocket books to anthologies of many pages.
Alok V. Menon's Beyond the Gender Binary, pictured here, is the perfect combination of engaging reading and mind-blowing insight.
"The most lethal part of the human body is not the fist," they write. "It is the eye."
Stop by AMUC 132 from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday to come check out some cool books! Or just hang out with us and study 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️📙
