James Taylor & Carly Simon (via Zoom)

In the early 1970s, singer-songwriters ruled the radio, and the era's ultimate power couple were husband and wife James Taylor and Carly Simon. We'll trace the arc of their careers from "Fire and Rain" and "You're So Vain" to "Shower the People" and "Anticipation." The marriage didn't last, but the hits sure have!

Page Turners Book Discussion: Gun Island (via Zoom)

We will be discussing Gun Island by Amitav Ghosh. Rare book dealer Teen is used to a quiet life spent indoors. As his once-solid beliefs begin to shift, he is forced to set out on a journey that takes him across the world and is led by the memories and experiences of those he meets along the way.

Hear author Dr. Zetta Elliott talk about her beloved Dragons in a Bag series and her other award-winning books! Zetta will speak about the power of storytelling with a Q&A afterwards. After Zetta's presentation, registrants will have a chance to show off dragons they have created from the Grab & Go Kit! Hosted in collaboration with Evanston Public Library.

All-Ages Storytime with Ms. Ann (via Zoom)

It's Storytime in the comfort of your own home. Join Ms. Ann for interactive games, stories, rhymes, and to socialize with other families. Registration required; no Lincolnwood Library card needed. This program is offered using Zoom and will be live at the scheduled time with a post-recording available. 

Caldecott Club (via Zoom)

Discover the craft of evaluating picture books to select the winner of our 2022 Caldecott Club. We have copies of our Caldecott Club picks at the Youth & Teen desk that you can check out for Caldecott Club.

Stories and Starlight: All Ages Storytime (via Zoom)

Wind down for bedtime with Ms. Ann! We'll be sharing stories, singing songs, playing games, and so much more! This program is offered via Zoom and will be live at scheduled time.

Virtual Events on Zoom. These programs are offered using Zoom and will be live at their scheduled time with no post-recording available. Please include your email address in your registration to receive instructions on how to join the Zoom event.

Instagram Live Event. Programs are offered on our Instagram page @lincolnwoodlibrary and will be live at their scheduled time. Each recording will remain online on our Instagram page.
