Yes, it's true - this newsletter is all Cinderella... It's magical, baby! We are abuzz with our magical end-of-year production, and fundraiser for The Masque Theatre.

We have a very special invitation to share too - Come to the Ball!
Friday 10 December, our first weekend dazzle, we invite you, and all, to dress up, sparkle up and celebrate in true festive season style.

With sanitisation plans (Us vs Omnicron) and donations of wine glasses (THANK YOU MADS and Sue Wilkes), The Masque is looking forward to the Shimmy with our fabulous fairy godmother, and hilarious step-family bringing their spice to an age-old love story. We are of course concerned about the continuing Covid Journey, and have reduced available seating for now while we watch, as everyone in South Africa is, as data is gathered.

If you are in the mood to venture out, and celebrate, this Magical Musical opens next week, with some SOLD OUT performances, so we do hope you book now.

Book for Friday 10 December
Summery spring!
In the name of step-by-step improvements, and Spring (or is it Summer yet?), we're excited to be investing in some new sound equipment - and if anybody out there has a fantastic recommendation for good-quality, well-priced generator (8KW or bigger) or who might be a qualified electrician open to correctly wiring said generator up for us - please do reach out! (Hit reply to this email...)

Thank you to all those who have signed up on our volunteer list, we had a wonderful response in the last newsletter, so decided to include this again: if you might like to join the fun at The Masque, click on the button below and let us know what you're interested in!
I'd be interested in being involved at The Masque!
And now Cinderella, all the deets:

Join us at the Masque for a wickedly funny fairytale adventure that is full of foot-stomping pop hits, beautiful costumes, and the most fabulous fairy godmother - 9-18 December.

Cinderella is a classic fairytale full of hope, love and plenty of magic... We’re keeping it old-school with a great modern twist! The show is full of popular numbers that’ll make you want to dance, amazing voices that will wow you and a whole lot of laughs. From Mambo No.5, to I Gotta Feeling, this night is going to be a great night...

Join Cinderella as she tries to find a life where people see who she truly is, Prince Charming as he looks for real love, the Queen as she tries to get her son to be a strong ruler, and the stepfamily as they try to climb to the station they deserve… And it’s all weaved together by the magic of our Fabulous Fairy Godmother. Oh, and our Herald will be capturing it all and sharing it with her TikTok fam.
