Getting Ready for school in 2022

Hi Parents,

With only a week left to school or none for those on rotation and off next week, we conclude the academic year with a question mark. What will school be like in 2022?

Here's what we can or may expect going forth

- Kids will have another term in 2022 before they advance to the next level in March 2022
- 10% of the student population in a school to undergo weekly testing every Wednesday on rotation basis will probably continue
- SPM 2021 will be held in March 2022 with a new revised schedule/timetable
- perhaps school will continue to be on a rotation basis

For schools in Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu
2 Jan 2022 - 24 Feb 2022 Final Term 2021/2022
28 Jan 2022 - 2 Feb 2022 CNY School Holidays (including weekends)
25 Feb 2022 - 20 Mac 2022 School Holidays
21 Mac 2022 - Start of new academic year with students advancing to the next level

For school in all other states
3 Jan 2022 - 25 Feb 2022 Final Term 2021/2022
29 Jan 2022 - 3 Feb 2022 CNY School Holidays (Including weekends)
26 Feb 2022 - 20 Mac 2022 School Holidays
21 Mac 2022 - Start of new academic year with students advancing to the next level

We should remember these dates so we can plan our work, childcare and other arrangements well ahead of time.
