Contribute to APA to create a more inclusive art world
With Christmas fast approaching we wanted to get in early to thank everyone in the Arts Project Australia community for the incredible support we have been given this year.
We have been blown away by the enthusiasm of our artists and their families, donors, collectors, colleagues in the arts sector and the many people with whom we’ve formed partnerships and friendships.
Throughout the lockdowns, our artists continued to produce bold, imaginative art. This creative output will be celebrated at our Annual Gala on 12 December 2021. With the support of our friends at Leonard Joel we are aiming to top last year’s success - $20,000 in sales to artists and over 600 supporters tuned in across YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. We encourage you to jump online and place a bid!
Another way our partners and friends contribute to APA’s advocacy for a more inclusive art world is through donations. The support we receive from gifts (large and small) enables us to invest time and energy in seeking out exhibition opportunities, sales and commissions for our artists, who have been under-represented in contemporary arts and culture.
When you see Georgia Szmerling’s work featured in Gorman’s latest range, or a large scale banner by Anthony Romagnano emblazoned across Collingwood Town Hall you know that talent has been recognised and we are having an impact.
Our family of supporters are game-changers who believe that divergent voices make life more interesting. If you would like to join us in celebrating individual creativity over conformity, please consider making a donation to APA this Christmas.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
