The 2022 Racing Calendar is finally out
There are plenty of new, exciting events being organized for 2022, first of all the much awaited 21st edition of the Rolex Swan Cup.
After a kick off edition in 2021, the Swan Series, dedicated to rating yachts, will take place in 2022 too, highlighting the Swan performance at most renowned racing event in each region; the 2021 Swan Mediterranean Series will touch some of the most stunning locations like Sorrento, Porto Cervo and St. Tropez,.
Turning to the Swan One Design division, after the most recent successful years, locations have been unveiled for The Nations League Mediterranean 2022.
Moreover, after the success of the 2021 ACI Cup, for the second time Rovinj will host the ClubSwan 36 fleet, this time for the Europeans.
Enrico Chieffi, Senior Advisor to the Nautor Group, states "ClubSwan Racing continues to invest so much energy in the racing world to give Swan owners and their crews the chance to combine excitement and fun in the different locations we choose for our events. Both One Design and Rating fleets will have the opportunity to enjoy the sport of sailing at its best with a very positive and intense vibe."

ARC Race
21 November - 17 December, Las Palmas to Santa Lucia
Twelve Swan yachts are competing in ARC Race, ten of them in I Cruising class.
Swan 98 Drifter Cube is currently in first position while Swan 65 Cuordisole is in 5th place and Swan 112 Pauline of Skanor is in 9th place in Cruising Class overall. Moreover, Swan 48 Sarah Mercedes is competing in Cruising B Class heading the fleet.

Why did you choose Nautor’s Swan, and how does it feel to be a Swan owner?
Sailing has been a passion I have had since childhood and I am fortunate that my wife Denise shares my love of the outdoors. We have both sailed and competed in dinghies and spent many summers cruising on charter boats with our four children. Sailing gives a special sense of freedom and adventure, and our dream was to take long trips on a yacht that was like a house on the water. I have been looking at boats for a long time, trying to weigh the pros and cons of the many options on the market. What matters most is to clearly express how you want to use the boat and what you like most about sailing. For us, the keywords were quality, seaworthiness, performance and comfort in a modern and light design. This is what Swan offers, plus a great pedigree and brand recognition. We could never believe how many times people would stop and look at the lush lines of our Swan 48 and I have to admit this filled us with some pride.

With the arrival of winter in Europe, and therefore also with the refit season full on; NSGS couldn't forget the already-started season in the Caribbean. Our team wanted to be present in Las Palmas for the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers in order to say goodbye to owners and crews that are going to participate in this wonderful adventure. Fair winds to everyone, enjoy the journey!

Meanwhile, new boats continue to arrive from Finland passing through many of our partner boatyards to be delivered to new owners. Swan 58-006 commissioning
In early November, Swan 58-006 left Pietarsaari on her way to Badalona for commissioning. There, the NSGS team were waiting to carry out the scheduled works: keel assembly, mast assembly, stepping and commissioning of all equipment to ensure a flawless delivery to the customer. Fair winds Red Sky!
One of our most challenging refit projects carried out, until now, at our Badalona yard facilities was the comprehensive refit of Swan 100 ‘Red Sky’. Now it’s time to say "goodbye" as Red Sky is ready for a wonderful season in the Caribbean.
She arrived to NSGS facilities at the beginning of the summer and until now a big refit has been going on. Installation of a new hard top, paint job on the whole rig and on the stern, and crucial improvements to the interior have been the main jobs performed by the NSGS team. NSGS Case Study - Deck Hatches
If one thing is clear in the superyacht sector, is the notion that everything is possible. It is just a matter of know-how. One of the latest jobs carried out by the NSGS team has been the conversion of two fixed hatches in to openable hatches. This may seem a simple job, but it does involve a lot of departments and coordination and techniques. Check the complete process in this link

NSGS Team in Las Palmas for the ARC Regatta
Last November 20th, 12 Swans took the start of the mythical ARC regatta in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and NSGS wanted to be present giving its support and assistance to all of them. In addition, as a farewell, a breakfast was organized for their crews, which was a great success.
